A2F: How has social media impacted your life – personally and professionally?
Dionne: By nature, I’m an introvert. Social Media has allowed me to be public or extroverted without going out. ? It has been invaluable in the growth of my businesses by allowing me to reach the broadest audience st the lowest cost.

A2F: What is your favorite social media network, and why?
Dionne: I love them all! I recognize the benefit of each and use then to that advantage.

A2F: Social media is a common platform to market businesses and services, what other ways are you using social media for your business, site or blog?
Dionne: Telling the story. We use social media to share the human experience. Share the not glamorous sides, let our audience see the work. We also love the feedback and ability to change or modify based on consumer reaction.

Dionne: Snapchat. This is where the kids play and it really isn’t my audience.

A2F: Thinking about blogging and/or social media, share one of your highlights or accomplishments? What made it special?
Dionne: Every month is a new challenge. A new goal. Every time I crush that goal I feel accomplishment. The most important thing for me is my clients. My platforms may not be poppin’, but theirs are.

Yes I can agree with snapchat, I already have too many social media sites to keep up with. I do think its important to know your audience or you don’t know what business or content you should be creating.

Great interview as always. I’m naturally a extrovert, but I still enjoy spending time with myself as well.

I’m already an extrovert in person but I had to make sure my personality is reflected the same on social media. I want people to know my integrity online and in person is the same.

I have given up on trying to be on every single social media platform. I say stick to what works best for you and your brand so that you’re not overwhelmed.

Great tips, thanks! I like the tip on being ready to change with your audience. Being in the blogging game for a minute, I have realized that things come and go, and you have to be ready to adapt or get left behind!

“Share the not glamorous sides” really resonates with me, I always try to get the BEST picture or the PERFECT selfie with AMAZING lighting…and I often fail at doing any of that, but that shouldn’t stop me from posting and showing myself to my audience. Great interview!

Thank you for sharing. Social Media definitely gives the introverts a chance to network. Although I am trying to conquer this fear, networking events can be intimidating for me. Social Medial allows me to interact with a community that is under a common goal.

I’m an introvert too and being on social media has enabled me to open up more
Each platform is different and needs some degree of exposure and involvement to make it work
